Policies

Shipping policies: Please remember to notify us of any address changes. Shipments may be delayed due to extreme temperatures. We are not responsible for misdirected shipments. Three attempts to deliver your wine are made. For Insider’s Wine Club members, after those three attempts, the member incurs the costs of failed delivery.

Because of state regulations on shipments of alcohol, currently we can only ship to the following states for online purchases¹:

Arizona⁴, California, Colorado, Washington D.C., Florida², Illinois, Indiana⁴, Iowa, Michigan⁴, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana³, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin.

For non-Insider’s Club purchases only: If the purchaser is present at the Tasting Room, August Hill Winery and Illinois Sparkling Co. can ship to the above states as well as the following states¹:
Delaware, Georgia, Kansas, North Carolina, and Rhode Island.

¹ Many states also have quantity limitations on the amount of wine that may be shipped, please click here for details.
² Some counties in Florida are designated as dry counties; we cannot ship to these counties.
³ In Montana, shipping wine with alcohol % higher than 16% is prohibited; therefore, we cannot ship Augie’s Blackberry to Montana.
⁴ Arizona, Indiana, & Michigan require that we obtain a copy of your driver’s license to show proof of age.

Not happy with your state’s shipping laws? Visit freethegrapes.org to make a stance.

Hot Weather Advisory:  During periods of hot weather (90 degrees or above), we will not ship wine orders in order to preserve the quality of the wine and ensure that it arrives to you in premium condition. Your wine order will be held and shipments will resume as soon as the weather becomes cooler.
