One ticket is good for admittance for 1 car to the Wine on the Hill event (groups at the event are limited to 10 people per Illinois COVID guidelines).\u00a0 The cost per car is $10 if purchased in advance. If we do not sell out prior to the event, tickets will be available at the door for $15 per car.\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/augusthill.vinesos.com\/events\"><strong>Click here to reserve your parkling spot<\/strong><\/a>. <em>Please note, when ordering it will ask for number of &#8220;attendees&#8221;; you will choose 1 for one car, 2 to reserve 2 cars, etc.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Wine Orders &amp; Pre-Ordering \u2013 wine available by the bottle only<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pre-orders: To make sure we have your wine properly chilled for you to enjoy at the event, please pre-order your wine when reserving your spot for the event (wine tasting kits are not available at the event so please don&#8217;t include these in your wine order).\u00a0 <strong><em>IMPORTANT: When placing your order online, please select \u201cPickup at Wine on the Hill event\u201d when you get to the checkout area.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/augusthillwinery.com\/wine-shop\/\">Click here to order August Hill<\/a>.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iscbubbly.com\/shop\/\">Click here to order ISC bubbly<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Purchase wine to take home: We will have order forms available at the event. To order, call Stone Jug at 815-780-8275 and let them know you are ordering for the August Hill event.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.stonejugbbq.com\/menu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.stonejugbbq.com\/menu\/\">Click here to view the menu.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Venue &amp; Accessibility<br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong>The venue is a large, grassy hillside overlooking the Illinois Valley. There is very little flat surface so blanket seating is recommended for the spots higher up on the hill. You can also bring chairs for the flatter areas of the hill.\u00a0You can bring a tent or umbrella for shade, but try to be respectful of others when staking your spot. The hill is pretty steep in spots. Depending on where you choose to sit, the climb varies between slightly challenging and quite challenging. We will have two porta pots and a hand washing station on site.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Entertainment<br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong>Matthew Michael &amp; Christina Marie (MMCM)\u00a0will be providing music from 5-8 pm!<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Parking<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\nParking is limited. We will have a person guiding arrivals into parking spots the first hour of the event. If no parking attendant is present, please follow the layout and conserve more spots for others arriving later.<br \/>\n<u><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/u><strong><u>What to Bring<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drinkware: You can bring your own or we have some available for purchase or plastic cups for free.<\/li>\n<li>Snacks or other food (if you are not pre-ordering from Stone Jug BBQ)<\/li>\n<li>Cooler with ice (to keep your wine chilled)<\/li>\n<li>Bottled water<\/li>\n<li>Blanket for seating<\/li>\n<li>Sunscreen &amp; bug spray<\/li>\n<li>Umbrella or small tent (we have limited shade)<\/li>\n<li>A smile on your face (we will have ours!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Other important info<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Social distancing: Our hillside is a large area, so please follow CDC social distancing guidelines and place your seating a minimum of 6 feet away from other parties and the walkways.<\/li>\n<li>Party-size restriction: No more than 10 people in your group please, per Illinois guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>We will not be providing any winery or vineyard tours.<\/li>\n<li>Dogs are allowed, but must remain on a leash. Here are the written directions (note both of these are coming from the north, so if coming from the south you will need to turn at the road at the bottom of the hill prior to crossing the river):<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>From Peru, IL on Rt. 251 to Winery &amp; Vineyard<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nFrom Peru, go south on Rt. 251 over the Illinois River Bridge.\u00a0Turn right at first road after you cross bridge (2551st Rd). Follow curved road @1 mile to \u201cT\u201d and turn right (still 2551st Rd.) Our winery is about 1.7 miles on left, offset up on the hill. The\u00a0winery building is white with a burgundy roof, and there are a couple of semi trailers parked up near it. Also, there is a blue sign near the entrance of driveway saying our address: 21N 2551Rd. GPS: 41.299550, -89.163228<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>From Spring Valley, IL on Rt-89<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nFrom Spring Valley, stay on Rt-89 crossing the Illinois River Bridge. Before going up the steep hill, turn left on road (2551st Rd). Travel on road for about 1.5 miles where curves around a farm on right. Just after the curve, you will see the winery offset on the right up on the hill. Our winery building is white with a burgundy roof, and there are a couple of semi trailers parked up near it.
