Exciting news – there will be wine tasting at the Kane County Fair this year! Join us for wine, music, and loads of fun.
The wine tasting will take place in the air-conditioned Prairie Events Center, located in the middle of the fair. Wine will be available by the taste, glass, and bottle.
WINE GARDEN HOURS:
Thursday, July 19, 3-9 pm
Friday, July 20, 2-9 pm
Saturday, July 21, 2-9 pm
Sunday, July 22, noon – 6 pm
WINE TASTING FEE
Pay only $10 (cash only please) and receive a souvenir wine glass plus 7 wine tasting tickets. Additional tasting tickets will be available for $1 each.
* Please note that the $10 fee is in addition to the fair entry fee. Entry to the fair is only $5 on Thursday and $10 on Friday-Sunday.
TRY THE ILLINOIS BICENTENNIAL ROSÉS
These wineries will have lots of choices for you, but be sure to try some of the five Illinois Bicentennial Rosés at the fair! In partnership with the Illinois 200 Commission, the Illinois Grape Growers and Vintners Alliance selected 16 Illinois rosé wines to celebrate Illinois’ 200th birthday this year! Six of these wines came from the wineries pouring at our event and these five below will be available for tasting!
